Manama, June 6 (BNA)— The Public Prosecution remanded today Nabil Ahmed Abdulrasool Rajab in custody for seven days pending investigation, Public Prosecution Secretary Adnan Matar announced.
The decision was taken following a complaint filed by some people from Muharraq accusing him of publicly vilifying Muharraq citizens and questioning their patriotism with disgraceful expressions posted via social networking websites.
Initial investigations have confirmed the accusation.
